Dehesa Studio · Gran Canaria, Spain
Small studio building thoughtful software at the intersection of AI and everyday life. Each tool does one thing well, and nothing more than it needs to.
What we build
Paste any YouTube URL. Get a structured summary, step-by-step guide, key concepts with documentation links, and an honest "worth watching?" verdict. Handles 8-hour lectures. Works in English and Spanish.
A tool for guerrilla reforesters. Track seeds, log plantings, map native species recovery areas, and connect with others doing quiet, patient work to restore what was lost.
The person behind it
I'm Andrea de la Dehesa Demaria — operations strategist, AI builder, and resident of Gran Canaria. I spent 12+ years making complex systems run smoothly, from ISO 27001 certifications to 90,000-person events.
Now I'm finishing an MSc in AI Business & Innovation and building tools that apply that same problem-solving instinct to software — things that are useful, honest, and don't waste your time.
The name Dehesa is mine by heritage — de la Dehesa is the piece of my full Spanish name that bureaucracies kept erasing. A dehesa is also a managed landscape where nothing is wasted and everything connects. That felt right for a studio.
I'm open to AI and operations roles in Europe. If what you're building needs someone who understands both the systems and the humans inside them, let's talk.
A small origin story
"My great-grandfather Luis was given the name Campua by King Alfonso XII — he was the royal court photographer. Four generations later, his descendant builds AI tools in the Canary Islands and plants native trees in empty fields on weekends. The instinct to document, to recover, to make things visible — it runs in the family."
